Mirai fuel cell car demand
exceeds production capabilities of Toyota. Since sales began in Japan in
December 2014, there were more than 1,500 orders units. While production plant
could only produce three units per day.
Most consumers have been observed had to wait up to three
years, meaning consumers could be getting the unit in 2018 when Mirai enter the
cycle facelift like most other models.
